Course Description
Take your stringed instrument to the extreme and learn how to play jazz, blues, and rock. Learn from one of the nation's top eclectic strings musicians who has performed and taught for over thirty-five years—Randy Sabien. Explore rhythms you have not encountered in classical music, improvise new melodies from alternative scales, and learn a variety of tunes from swingin’ jazz, to rockin’ blues, to foot-stompin’ fiddle breakdowns! Violin, viola, cello, and bass are all welcome at this camp! No experience playing this type of music is required!
