Spend an exciting week learning the basics of digital filmmaking! Film Camp will introduce you to camera and editing techniques, as well as principles of lighting, sound design, and story development. Working individually or in teams, students will complete several short video projects throughout the week, as well as a culminating final project. The week will end with a gala premiere where you will screen your short films to the public!
Students will learn:
Digital Cameras
Editing Software
Downloading videos to the Internet (such as YouTube) Narrative Filmmaking Techniques Lighting Techniques
Students should bring their own digital video camera that take mini-DV tapes and that is able to be connected to computers. Tripods are also recommended. Please contact the Arts Center if you are unable to bring your own camera and tripod. We will try to obtain equipment for you to use while at camp. 715-468-2414
