When Dylan Met Guthrie is a two-man show created by award-winning Wisconsin Artists Lil Rev and Will Branch. This heartwarming, historical narrative, tells the fascinating story of America’s two greatest balladeers and covers a span of over 50 years of American history and the major events that shaped their creative output.
In its entirety, When Dylan Met Guthrie weaves together a unique blend of story, quotes, poetry and classic Guthrie and Dylan songs, including many sing-along favorites that the audience will be encouraged to join in on. Never content to imitate, Will & Rev possess an enthusiasm for the material that will delight audiences, with their refreshing renditions, of these timeless tunes, performed on guitar, banjo, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, ukulele and harmonica.
