Elementary Music Educators:
Take advantage of a choral festival for children

Are you interested in an afternoon of instruction to help your older elementary students catch up on the music education they missed during the pandemic?

Or maybe you’d like to give them an afternoon to sing with a large choir of students and simply delight in the joy of singing.

Let your students reinforce the technical skills you’ve been teaching them. Expose them to more sophisticated literature.

Child singing, developing confidence.

Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 are invited to attend this afternoon and evening event on October 20, 2022.

The fun begins with a noon rehearsal.

Singing and learning continues through the afternoon (with several breaks, of course).

We’ll serve them dinner before they get to perform a 6:00 concert for their parents and community members. They’ll be on their way home about 7:00 that evening.

Your guest conductor for this event will be Holly Lathe; the Associate Artistic Director and Conductor of the Con Brio Chorus of the Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota.  She is the music teacher at Pine Meadow Primary School of Independent School District 748 in Sartell, Minnesota. Ms. Lathe is also a native of Solon Springs, Wisconsin.

The cost of this event will be $20 per student and is being graciously underwritten by a community engagement grant from Xcel Energy. This includes the cost of the music and dinner.  Music will be sent to you once you have registered your students.

To register your students, please fill out this form.  All students should be registered by October 15, 2022.  Payment can be turned in during registration on the day of the festival.
