Sarah Fredrikson to lead Digital Imaging Camp at the Shell Lake Arts Center

The Shell Lake Arts Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Fredrikson to lead the Digital Imaging Camp at the Shell Lake Art Center. It has taken a while to find the right person to bring this Camp into existence. We are excited about the possibilities.  The gifts and talents that Sarah brings to her work will be an awesome addition to our community.
Digital Imaging camp will run from June 18-23 on the beautiful shores of Shell Lake Wisconsin at the Shell Lake Arts Center.  The camp is open to students grades 7-12.  Commuter tuition in $440 and residential tuition is $765.  Registration is happening now on the Center's website.

Sarah Fredrikson is an artist, a designer and a teacher. She currently teaches art at Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Middle/High School. She has had a passion for photography for as long as she can remember, she almost always has some type of camera in her hands. Originally trained in darkroom photography, as the digital revolution was just beginning, she now can manipulate images in a darkroom and using digital programs, like photoshop. Along with photography, she enjoys watercolor painting and needle felting. At home, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kory, and their four kids (9-year old triplets and a 7 year old). When together they love to adventure in the outdoors, especially to visit waterfalls around the country. Sarah is also involved on the Wisconsin Art Education Association board and on the board of the newly founded Chetek Public Arts League.
