Sheila Aderman Squires

Sheila Aderman Squires joined the board of directors in October 2017.  She currently serves as the Board’s President and is a member of the Capital Campaign Committee. Sheila earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Master of Science in Behavioral Disabilities from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.   She worked in the human services field for 30 years as a Music Therapist, Rehabilitation Counselor and Administrator of planning, human resources, and training for the Colorado Department of Human Services.  Sheila and her husband Stan retired to Shell Lake in the fall of 2016.  Between 1969 and 1974, she spent her summers at the Shell Lake Arts Center, attending various camps and working for her father as an office assistant.  As the eldest daughter of Darrell and Billie Aderman, Sheila experienced first-hand the impact of her parent’s passion and commitment to the arts, education, the community, and the Shell Lake Arts Center.
