Steve Zenz
Steve Zenz joined the board in December of 2019; however, he has been intimately involved with the Center since 1971 when he came to the Shell Lake Arts Center as a student. Steve also worked as a counselor and served on the Jazz Camp faculty for many years. He currently serves on the Program Development and Capital Campaign Committees. Steve has a reputation as a consummate professional in all that he does. His friends, students and colleagues know him as “Zomar”, a character of humor and zaniness. He has been actively involved in the music business as a professional, freelance musician and teacher for more than fifty years. He worked nationally in Argentina and Europe and is the co-founder of the Cordoba Jazz Camp and the Cordoba Jazz Orchestra in Cordoba, Argentina. A world traveler, Steve currently lives in Milwaukee, WI with his wife Siri. He is the father of four daughters and four grandchildren. It is an honor to be a member of the Art Center’s Board of Directors.
