Shell Lake Arts Center

We are celebrating the life–and mourning the death–of Dr. Eugene Rousseau. Dr. Rousseau was an early force in the formation of the Shell Lake Arts Center both as an internationally renowned performer and a master teacher. He influenced much of the personality of the Arts Center with his exceptional musicianship and deep humility.

His family, who spent many summers in Shell Lake, has asked that memorials be given to the Shell Lake Arts Center. We are grateful for their kindness. If you are inspired to give in memory of Dr. Rousseau, you can donate online or send your gift to:
